The San Jose Glass Artists Alliance was formed to create a community of local artists that work primarily in glass. The members of the organization promote public awareness about art glass through low cost or no cost educational exhibits, demonstrations, lectures and presentations.
In addition, we prepare glass artists to promote glass education through:
Professional development, consultation and workshops
Affordable classes for continued skill building
Meetings to share ideas and solve problems
Mentoring and fundraising opportunites
Our organization supports individual artists while they create the masterpieces of tomorrow. Through educating the public and public awareness programs, we strive to leverage our resources as a local community, to make better art, and be able to present it for public enjoyment in the future.
